E1X currently lists scholarship-supported tracks that align strongly with the NIGSS community's interests and with adjacent aerospace and emerging-technology careers.

Partner scholarship pathway

E1X states that awarded scholars receive tuition coverage for their selected track, with a separate one-time onboarding fee required to secure enrollment. For the current NIGSS/ALEMF partner pathway, the onboarding fee for participants in Nigeria is ₦25,000.

Why NIGSS is promoting it

The opportunity supports one of NIGSS's core goals: helping Nigerians globally build practical skills and access pathways into sectors shaped by AI, data, software, security and advanced technology.

Members remain responsible for reviewing E1X Academy's current terms, course requirements, deadlines and payment conditions before enrolling.

Additional NIGSS-funded scholarships are being evaluated. NIGSS/ALEMF is considering a limited number of additional sponsorships that could cover the onboarding fee for selected members. The final number, eligibility rules and selection process have not yet been announced; no applicant should assume this additional funding is guaranteed.

Scholarship terms

E1X's current public scholarship page states that tuition is covered for awarded scholars while a separate onboarding fee is required to secure a seat.

Current cohort timing

E1X's public page states that classes begin in October 2026 and that onboarding payment is required by September 30, subject to the partner's current availability and rules.

NIGSS additional sponsorship

Any future NIGSS/ALEMF-funded full onboarding sponsorships will be announced separately with transparent eligibility and selection criteria.
